DESCRIZIONE
Discover the exceptional character of MIKAH Costa Rica Tarrazú Abuelos, a premium specialty coffee crafted with passion and tradition by the Abarca Jiménez family at Microbeneficio Abuelos Café. Grown at 1,600 metres above sea level in the renowned Tarrazú region of Costa Rica, this remarkable coffee combines Caturra and Catuai varieties to showcase the richness of its high-altitude terroir.
Named in honour of Don Antonio, a dedicated harvester at Finca Los Abuelos, this coffee celebrates a deep connection to the land and the art of coffee cultivation. The carefully selected cherries undergo a 72-hour sealed anaerobic fermentation, followed by 25 days of sun-drying on raised beds, creating a distinctive and complex flavour profile.
With rich cocoa and caramel notes complemented by hints of blackberry and red wine, this coffee delivers a beautifully layered cup with medium acidity and an impressive SCA score of 87+. Perfect for coffee enthusiasts who appreciate refined flavours, artisanal processing, and exceptional craftsmanship.
